Our Saturday Hopper Service returns Saturday, July 10th and will provide riders with connections from Angels Camp to Murphys and Arnold.  View the Press Release here and additional information on the Hopper schedule here

The Fair is back and so is Calaveras Connect’s Shuttle Service! May 13 through May 16, Calaveras Connect will provide free shuttle service between the Save Mart Bus Stop in Angels Camp and the Fairgrounds for the 2021 Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee. As pandemic restrictions begin to ease, Calaveras Connect is adjusting services to provide enhanced transportation within Calaveras County and to neighboring communities and has expanded the Direct Connect Dial-a-Ride services to Monday through Friday for all communities. Starting October 6th, Calaveras Connect will offer Direct-Connect dial-a-ride service for residents of San Andreas, West Point, Wilseyville, Mountain Ranch, Railroad Flat, Angels Camp and Copperopolis. Click here for more information about these services.

Effective August 24th Calaveras Connect is now offering free Curbside Pick-up and Delivery from local grocery stores to Calaveras County residents. This service is currently available in Valley Springs, Angels Camp, San Andreas, Mokelumne Hill and Mountain Ranch with delivery available within one mile of Calaveras Connect’s bus routes. Starting Monday, August 3rd, the Red Line will resume its regular schedule between Valley Springs, San Andreas, and Angels Camp Monday through Friday. Extended service to Columbia College is also available by request. And it is still fare-free! Click here to read the press release.

Throughout the Covid-19 crisis, Calaveras Connect has continued to connect our community to essential services. While regular bus service has been suspended until further notice, the transit system is providing fare-free, on demand transportation for residents needing to make trips for supplies, medical care, essential work or other essential purposes. These changes are based on guidance from state health and emergency officials. Click here for more information.

Calaveras Connect is encouraging all passengers on Calaveras Connect vehicles, and those visiting Calaveras Connect facilities, to wear a face mask covering nose and mouth. The CDC recommends that anyone leaving their homes should use face coverings to limit their potential exposure to the COVID-19 novel coronavirus and to prevent exposing others.  Bus operators and all essential Calaveras Connect staff are encouraged to wear a face mask covering the nose and mouth effective as well. Effective March 30, 2020, until further notice: Calaveras Connect buses will move to On-Demand service only, with deviations within ¾ mile of normal fixed routes. Transportation will be provided for essential trips only. These service changes are being implemented with regard to the best interest of the public, as it will help riders and employees avoid large crowds, allow for social distancing and aid in slowing the spread of COVID-19. Calaveras Connect is continuing with increased cleaning and sanitation on all vehicles. In consideration of State directives on the need for social distancing and the closures of venues (restaurants, bars, etc) concerning the spread of COVID-19. Calaveras Connect will be suspending our Saturday Hopper service starting on March 21st and continuing through April 11th. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.



Calaveras Connect is currently operating normal routes and schedules, we continue to closely follow developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19). We are in close contact with local, state, and national health authorities and we are following their advice in terms of precautions and mitigation measures.
