Calaveras Connect during COVID-19

Throughout the COVID-19 crisis, Calaveras Connect has continued to connect our communities. While our bus service has looked different during these times, we are providing fare-free transportation for residents needing to make trips for supplies, medical care, and work. Please be advised Masks are required to Board and Ride all buses. These changes are based on guidance from state health and emergency officials. Daily Cleaning & Weekly fogging

Buses are cleaned daily. In addition to standard cleaning procedures, we have implemented weekly sanitization fogging of all buses.

Masks & Social Distancing

We have made masks, gloves and sanitizer available to our employees and riders, requiring all drivers and riders to wear masks on the buses. We have limited the number of riders on a bus to allow for social distancing.

Service Adjustments

As the realities of COVID-19 have evolved so have our services to best meet the needs of our residents and provide safe transportation options based on guidance from health officials. We are continuing to analyze options to best serve the community including our new Grocery Delivery service and tailored Direct Connect Dial-a-Ride routes.
